Center Linear Bearing (CLB) System

Dienes' answer to the inaccuracies and frustrations caused by dovetail mounting arrangements is the CLB System (Center Linear Bearing). Excessive side loading, top knife jumps, and subsequent reduced knife life and holder failure from misuse of dovetail rack and pinion arrangements are eliminated.

The CLB System provides stability and effortless gliding of the top knife holder over a linear bearing rail. Close tolerance manufacturing of the Dienes Elite DF family holders and accurate cant angle plates combined with the tight fitting CLB offer maximum set up efficiency while maintaining the proper slitting geometry for your materials.

The top and bottom dual brake system provides solid locking power with simple lever engagement. Combined with the Dienes ES-TAB™ locating tool to establish the proper top to bottom knife relationship, you can be assured of smooth, quick, easy and accurate manual set ups.
