Dienes is proud to offer a series of
Shear Slitting and Crush Cutting
Seminars to be conducted at various
locations across the United States.
Beginning in October 2003, the two
part seminar for operators, engineers
and supervisors, will provide a basic
understanding of the importance of
slitter set-up.
Part one will be dedicated to the
Principles of Shear Slitting. Topics will
include: Shear Angle, Knife Overlap,
Side Load Factors, Blade Bevels,
Blade Materials and Regrinding, Dust
Generation, Troubleshooting, and
other critical subjects.
Part two will focus on Crush Cutting.
Topics will include: Crush Force
Analysis, Impact Loading, Fatigue
Reality, Anvil Factors, Blade Materials
and Regrinding, Troubleshooting,
Dust Generation, Adhesive Slitting,
and further relevant issues.
Dienes' goal is to help improve your slitting production through operator education
and technical support for day-to-day converting operations.
