CamB_5 Tooling Management Software

CamB_5 is a WINDOWS™ based computer program developed for the metal processing industry to calculate the slitter head tooling setup in an operator friendly yet precise way. The program, which operates under WINDOWS™ 2000 Professional, NT 4.0, or XP allows our customers to:

• Manage the slitter tooling inventory
• Minimize slitter head setup time
• Increase productivity by increasing uptime of the slitting line
• Optimize tooling setup configurations
• Eliminate trial slitting by using tolerance location in the setup configurations to compensate for tolerance accumulation errors
• Save previous tooling setups
• Printout various options, such as charts or graphical printouts
• Calculate Overarm Separator shaft and shaft tension
• Establish automatic pre-settings based upon different slitting setups
• Retrieve detailed information and documentation using the integrated Statistical Quality Control function of the program
