Dienes' unique and patented Quik-Clamp™ Score Cut Knife Holder has revolutionized slitting setups. With one quick movement of the handle, an innovative, integrated clamping mechanism securely locks the holder to the dovetail bar. By simply disengaging the clamping lever, you can quickly re-position the holder for a new setup. Thus, setup time is greatly decreased, allowing you to be more productive. In addition, this unique design greatly improves the quality of the cut, especially over conventional set-screw designs. Traditional set-screw devices tend to deflect slightly from their preset position when the set-screw is tightened. This often results in inaccurate slit widths. Quik-Clamp™ holders apply clamping forces evenly, eliminating lateral movement and ensuring squareness at all times. Further, with traditional set-screw methods, forces applied during the cutting process may not always be properly distributed, causing the holders to loosen on the dovetail bar. Again, these undesirable characteristics are eliminated by the load distribution of the Quik-Clamp™ system and its positive action.
