Operation:

1. A reference point is established and the digital indicator zeroed.
2. The digital indicator is slid over linear bearings to the first cut position.
3. The brake knob is set and the magnetic arm manually pivots into the knife holder area.
4. A Model PQAS Quik-Clamp™ knife holder is released from the dovetail bar and slid against the magnetic arm.
5. The magnet is activated to square the knife holder.
6. The Quik-Clamp™ is engaged to secure the holder to the dovetail bar.
7. The magnet is deactivated and the arm then pivoted out of the knife holder area.
8. Steps 1 through 7 are repeated for each required slit position.
