Tru-Plane™ Slitting Knife Collars

Dienes' Tru-Plane™ knife collar design employs unique locking pairs of brass inserts that ensure squareness and concentricity of the rotary knife during slitting operations. These innovative jacking screw inserts eliminate the unwanted knife wobble induced when using conventional slotted knife collars, providing you with easier setups, cleaner cuts and longer knife life due to reliable and consistent knife clearances. The radius on the two pairs of brass inserts are machined simultaneously with the collar to guarantee an exact fit on the arbor.

Tru-Plane™ knife collars are customized to allow you to use your current tooling or designed to accommodate new knives.
