DF-25 shear cut top knife holder is a narrow, moderate speed pneumatic circular knife holder that cuts narrow slit widths down to 25mm (0.984 in) at line speeds of up to 1,219 m/min (4,000 ft/min). Weighing only 3.7kg (8.2 lbs.), the DF-25 is designed around the superior and time-tested DIENES zero-clearance double shaft guidance system which maximizes top knife holder rigidity resulting in cleaner slits and longer circular knife life.
A micrometer adjustment device allows for precise depth control setting to ensure the highest slitting quality. DF-25 features include choice of dovetail or linear bearing mounts, quick change lower circular knife head, optional Easy-Set tab, 130mm (5.118 in) diameter circular blade.
