As the brake of choice in the converting industry, mono-disk pneumatic brakes are widely used on unwinders and other applications. Our mono-disk brake, the Combirex CX250, includes an innovative axial fan ventilation system that helps decrease the temperature of the pads quickly, leading to reduction of pad wear and increased web tension quality, compared to brakes without a cooling fan. This pneumatic brake is multi-caliper and reaches a maximum torque of 960 Nm and a power dissipation of 4,5 kW. Calipers are available in 3 different configurations to meet the needs of the application.
